Welcome to YOKL, Inc. (the “Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By accessing or using our website located at www.shopyokl.com (the “Site”), you agree to comply with and be bound by the following Terms of Service (the “Terms”). If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use our Site.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or otherwise using the Yokl app, you confirm that you are at least 16 years old and capable of agreeing to these Terms. If you’re under 16, please refrain from using Yokl without parental consent.

 

2. Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Any changes will be effective immediately upon posting on the Site. Your continued use of the Site after any modifications constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms. 

3. Account Registration and Security

Account Information: You must provide accurate, up-to-date information when creating your account. Yokl reserves the right to suspend or terminate any account that violates these Terms or contains misleading information.

Account Security: You’re responsible for maintaining the security of your login details and must notify Yokl immediately of any unauthorized access or suspicious activity in your account.

4. Account Registration

To access certain features of the Site, you may be required to register for an account. You agree to provide accurate and complete information during the registration process and to update such information to keep it accurate, current, and complete.

5. Permitted Uses

Yokl’s Service is intended solely for your personal, non-commercial use. You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purposes or in violation of any local, state, or federal laws.
  • Attempt to access another user’s account without authorization.
  • Reverse engineer, disassemble, or create derivative works based on the Service.
  • Use bots, scripts, or other automated tools to access or manipulate the Service.

Violation of these usage restrictions may result in immediate suspension or termination of your account.

6. Subscriptions and Payments

We may offer paid subscriptions on our Site. All payments are processed through our integration with Stripe, and you agree to comply with Stripe’s terms and conditions. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account information and for all activities that occur under your account.

7. User Content

Content Ownership: Yokl allows you to post content such as reviews, photos, and comments. By submitting content, you grant Yokl a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive license to use, modify, and display this content on the Service.

Content Responsibility: You are solely responsible for the content you post. Yokl does not endorse or assume liability for any user-submitted content, and we reserve the right to remove any content that violates our policies or is deemed inappropriate.

8. Intellectual Property

All content on the Site, including text, graphics, logos, and software, is the property of YOKL, Inc. or its licensors and is protected by U.S. and international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any content without our express written permission.

10. Local Business Interactions

Yokl connects users with local businesses but is not responsible for the products, services, or interactions that occur with these businesses. Any agreements, purchases, or arrangements are strictly between you and the business. Yokl disclaims any liability for disputes or issues arising from these interactions.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Yokl, its affiliates, and its partners are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, use, or goodwill resulting from:

  • Your use or inability to use the Service
  • Unauthorized access or changes to your content or account
  • Actions taken by third-party vendors or businesses on the Service

In no event shall Yokl’s liability exceed the amount paid by you, if any, for accessing the Service in the twelve months preceding the claim.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall be resolved exclusively in the courts located in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.

16. Entire Agreement
