News: Get Frosted at Winter Fling

The Borough of Hummelstown and the Hummelstown Community Foundation are excited to announce the 11th Annual Hummelstown Winter Fling. The two-day event will be held on the weekend of Jan. 24-25.

The event kicks off on Friday evening, from 7 to 10 p.m. on the square, and will feature live music from Cold Spring Union.

There will also be local wineries, breweries, food trucks, free hot chocolate, cookies and a photo both.

“Fling” apparel will be available for purchase and Hershey’s School of Dance will be doing a live performance.

There will be plenty of activities for the kids, as the Kidz Zone will include goat petting, cardio drumming, a game truck, limbo contest, bounce houses, games and prizes, plus fire pits, where you can make your own s’mores.

On Saturday, the fun continues at Nye Elementary School, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., where families can enjoy carriage rides, bounce houses, cookie wars, a magic show, kids’ activities, crafts, photo booth, food and a live performance by Studio 22 Dance Academy.
