Hershey Rotary Club Spotlights Derry Township Community Cats

As we’ve done over the past six weeks, we will continue for the next 14 weeks to shine a spotlight on the incredible local organizations supported by the $30,000 raised during our 2024 Annual Dinner and Auction.

These organizations are the heart of our community, making a difference every single day.

Thank you for putting service before self and for your unwavering commitment to creating a brighter future for everyone. Stay tuned as we celebrate the meaningful impact of these organizations and look ahead to our 2025 Annual Dinner and Auction!

This week we are spotlighting Derry Township Community Cats

The organization helps control the feral cat population in Derry Township. Humane traps are provided to residents who request them, the kittens or adult cats are captured and provided with medical treatment and care including spayed or neutered. The organization also partners with rescue groups who help foster the kittens and cats to enable them to be adopted as opposed to returning them to the outdoors.
