Barb’s Bear Gets a New Home

Barb Walls, a resident at Country Meadows Retirement Community in Hershey, made a very special donation to this year’s Hershey Bears’ Teddy Bear Toss game – a bear named Teddy, who has been with her as long as she can remember. Although Barb was not able to attend the game, Dana Rankin, a Personal Care Aid at Country Meadows, did and took Barb’s bear with her. Barb’s Teddy was one of the 102,343 bears that made up the record-breaking collection. “Teddy is going to bring someone else joy now,” said Barb with a big smile. “I wish I had more bears that could have gone with him.”
