After spending 30 years in New York City, I was ready for a change. When COVID hit, I found myself drawn to Hershey—it was a perfect escape from the city and kept me close to both NYC and State College. The opportunity to transition into this new chapter presented itself, and I fell in love with the community and the lifestyle here.

One of the biggest challenges has been finding and keeping good employees. The post-COVID landscape made it difficult to find people who were passionate about their work. I was fortunate to have someone like Nick, who worked with me for two years and treated this place as if it were his own. Employees like him make all the difference, and I’m grateful for those partnerships.

Adaptability is key. The landscape is always changing, and being flexible and open to new ideas will help you navigate the challenges that come your way.

We’re proud to support the local aquatics program by providing breakfasts. Additionally, we’re involved with Cocoa Packs. Giving back to the community is an important part of who we are.

I’m a big Penn State fan and a Broadway enthusiast. When I lived in Hell’s Kitchen, the shows were always accessible, and they became a meaningful tradition for me and my mom after her husband passed. Every Christmas, we’d go to a show together—it’s a memory I’ll always cherish.
