Hummelstown Print House provides dependable, high-quality printing services in Hummelstown, PA, serving local businesses, organizations, and the community.
We are a full-service print house specializing in screen printing, embroidery, and custom apparel. From team jackets and tournament tees to business uniforms, promotional items, and creative custom projects, we help people bring their ideas to life. We also work hand-in-hand with other local printers and suppliers to make sure our customers can get everything they need in one place.
The journey began back when I was president of the Hershey Junior Bears. Running hockey tournaments required an army of parent volunteers, but more and more families were too busy to commit. With Joe’s help, we created Travel Champs, a company that ran tournaments as a business instead of relying solely on volunteers. That led to travel services, merchandise sales, and eventually custom apparel.
At first, we were just printing shirts to sell at games, but demand grew for personalized items—names on jerseys, embroidered jackets, team gear. One thing led to another, and by 2018 we had invested in professional screen-printing and embroidery equipment. What started as a side service has grown into Hummelstown Print House, a 16,000-square-foot facility filled with creativity, energy, and a team that loves what they do.
Rebranding was one of the hardest. People knew us as Travel Champs, but the name didn’t fit our vision anymore. My team came to me with the Hummelstown Print House concept, and while it was a major undertaking—new entity, new accounts, new branding—it was the best decision we ever made. Listening to my team and trusting their vision has been key to our growth.
Life is about service. Whether it’s customer service, community service, or just being kind, that’s what matters most.
At the heart of it, I love helping people. I’ve been a nurse, a paramedic, and even a flight medic, and while I’m not saving lives anymore, I still get the same satisfaction from putting smiles on people’s faces. Creating a shirt, hat, or banner that means something to someone—that lights me up. My philosophy is simple: give people options, never just say “no,” and let them decide.
I love wedding catering. And I love talking to the guests that come in, especially the locals. I love being in Hershey, and I feel very fortunate and blessed to have a space in Hershey. I felt like we needed another non-chain store coffee option, too. The beans are roasted weekly, and we grind coffee in here every day.
Don’t be afraid to fail. I’ve had failures and I learned from every one of them. Milton Hershey failed three times before he built the Hershey Company we know today. Have a plan, make sure you have enough working capital, and then go for it.
We support local teams, organizations, and small businesses through apparel and promotional products. We also work cooperatively with other printers and vendors so that customers can get what they need locally, without running all over town. Our business is built on relationships and community pride.
Outside of business, I’ve lived a pretty adventurous life—I’ve been a professional ski patroller, a pilot, a paramedic, and a hockey player. I also have three kids I’m incredibly proud of, including an Air Force Academy graduate who now teaches at the Academy.
