Details provides full service lawn care, landscape maintenance, snow & ice removal, plant care, landscape design, hardscaping, and more. We operate out of a commercial space on Route 322 across from Walmart in Harrisburg.

I started my business because I’ve always had an entrepreneurial spirit. Even though I had the chance to play college football on scholarship, I knew I ultimately wanted to build something of my own. Details Landscape became a natural extension of my dad’s 25 years in the industry. He ran a company called Detail Landscape Management Company, and I launched Details Landscape LLC with the goal of continuing his work, modernizing it, and growing the business.

During peak COVID, we went through one of the toughest seasons in our history. Demand for services was extremely high, and we lost five employees in a short period. Hiring became nearly impossible. Candidates were not qualified or they were not reliable. Instead of lowering our standards just to fill positions, we held the line and worked with the team we had. It was exhausting, but protecting the quality of our work and the reputation of our company mattered more than a quick fix. That decision paid off in the long run.

Also, a major moment for me was securing our commercial space in 2021. For a landscaping company, getting a physical location is often the step that pushes you to the next level. That transition marked real growth for us.

Fully understand the field you’re getting into, and be willing to make sacrifices for ten years that most people won’t make. That’s the reality of building something that lasts.

In my early twenties, I started a soccer program in central Jamaica, where my grandparents are from. We donated around twenty thousand dollars worth of equipment to local schools. My grandmother runs a nonprofit there that I still help with today.

My wife and kids drive me more than anything. Everything I do is centered around giving them the best life I can.

My team and I are always available to help. Whether personally or professionally, we’re givers. If someone needs something, we’ll do whatever we can to take care of them.
