Speciality: mental performance training and executive coaching

What does your business do?

At Inner Gain, we help athletes, teams, and business professionals achieve breakthrough performance. For athletes, we use mindfulness and mental skills training to help them compete with greater relaxation and confidence. For business professionals, I draw on my experience as a Fortune 500 executive to elevate their branding, communication, and sales skills, empowering them to achieve outstanding success.

Why did you start your business?

Everyone faces limiting beliefs and self-doubt, but those don’t have to define our potential. I started Inner Gain to help clients rewrite those beliefs and unlock their ability to achieve extraordinary results in sports, business, and life. I see myself as my clients’ greatest advocate, supporting their journey toward transformation and success.

What drives you and what values define your business approach?

Passion, Integrity, and Confidentiality are the cornerstones of my work. My clients’ success is a shared mission, and I’m committed to helping them uncover new levels of achievement. Together, we identify the roadblocks holding them back and work in confidence to overcome them. Ultimately, their success is their story to tell—I’m just here to help them realize it.

Can you share a major obstacle you faced and how you overcame it?

One of my biggest challenges is the “non-buyer”—people who don’t realize what they’re missing. Parents often invest in travel teams, personal trainers, or skills coaches for their athletes but overlook mental performance training, which is often the missing link to reaching peak potential. This applies to business professionals too. My focus has been on refining how I communicate the value of these services and ensuring my messaging resonates. Educating potential clients about the transformative impact of mental performance skills is key to overcoming this obstacle.

What advice would you give others looking to start business?

Have a clear plan, but be ready to learn, adapt, and grow along the way. Building a successful business requires connecting with others and staying open to new ideas and opportunities.

Do you have a favorite quote or motto?

This quote, often attributed to Mahatma Gandhi, has deeply influenced both my life and Inner Gain’s tagline—THINK. BELIEVE. ACHIEVE.

Your beliefs become your thoughts,
Your thoughts become your words,
Your words become your actions,
Your actions become your habits,
Your habits become your values,
Your values become your destiny.

Are there any community projects you are passionate about?

I am the Chair of the Joy of Sports Foundation, a nonprofit organization that promotes active lifestyles for kids and families, providing opportunities for them to stay engaged and healthy. Additionally, I’ve served as a board member for the Hershey Public Library Endowment Board, helping support a vital resource in our community.

Is there something interesting about you we might not guess?

For my very first workshop in 2017, I reserved a massive hotel conference room. Only eight participants signed up! Thankfully, the hotel had a smaller room available that day. The experience was humbling and a reminder that building a brand takes patience, persistence, and time—lots of time!
