We are a daycare center where we care for children from six months to 12 years old. My journey to opening Angels Landing was rooted in my lifelong passion for working with children. At Angels Landing, you can always count on dependable, high-quality care. We treat every child like family, and you can trust that your little one will be safe, happy, and learning every day they are with us.

I’ve always been a teacher at heart. I started my career teaching elementary school in New Jersey, near Trenton, and later in Levittown, Pennsylvania. After moving to this area in 1991, I took time off to raise my two children while working as a substitute teacher. But substituting wasn’t as rewarding as I hoped—it lacked the opportunity to really build relationships with the kids and their families.

That’s when I found my calling at a daycare center. I worked as the director there for 15 years, helping grow the center from 32 kids to 150. But when things at that center no longer aligned with my values, I knew it was time to branch out on my own. In 2015, I made the leap and opened Angels Landing. We've now been here for 10 wonderful years!

The daycare I managed was thriving, but I needed to create a space that reflected my own values and vision. Taking that leap into business ownership was scary—but absolutely worth it.

My goal has always been to create a safe, loving, and nurturing environment where children feel comfortable and excited to learn. I want every child who comes through our doors to know they are loved and valued. Teaching them about Jesus is also a big part of my mission—it’s important to me that they grow up with a strong moral foundation.

The most rewarding part of my work is seeing the kids’ smiles and watching them grow. It’s incredibly fulfilling to know that parents trust me to care for their little ones. I want parents to feel completely at ease leaving their kids here, knowing they are in good hands.

Do your research, but if you have a passion for something—go for it! Honestly, I’m still amazed I managed to pull it off. But when you know something needs to be done, you just find a way to make it happen.

This has been the guiding principle behind Angels Landing. I truly believe that the early years of a child’s life are some of the most important, and I’m honored to play a part in shaping them.

When I’m not at the daycare, you’ll probably find me spending time with my grandchildren. I love babysitting them in the mornings and then heading to Angels Landing in the afternoons. Our family loves camping together—it’s our way of unwinding and staying connected. I also love organizing events and planning special moments for the kids at Angels Landing, like our Christmas Hat Day and the Family Picnic.
