HERSHEY, Pa. — Hershey Gardens announced the launch of a $3.5 million Capital Campaign to build a new, 3,300-square-foot Rose Garden Pavilion on the grounds.

The new structure will replace the current seasonal tent on the east end of the Milton & Catherine Conservatory, Hershey Gardens said.

It is expected to open in Fall 2026.

"This new structure...will proudly mirror the same beauty and elegance as the Conservatory," Hershey Gardens stated. "It will host a range of school groups, educational programs and expanded flower shows. It will also feature a beautiful terrace, where guests can take in the beauty of Mr. Hershey’s original rose garden."

A year-round pavilion will "increase our ability to accommodate educational school visits, as well as further our mission, set forth by Milton Hershey, to provide educational enrichment."

Those who donate $5,000 or more to the Capital Campaign will receive special recognition on a Donor Recognition Wall, Hershey Gardens said.

Donors can also honor loved ones by dedicating one of the flower-shaped light pendants that will be featured in the Rose Garden Pavilion. Pendants are available to those who donate $10,000 or more, and include recognition on a special donor board.

Those who donate $50,000 can be recognized with a personalized plaque next to one of 10 handmade stained-glass transom windows inspired by The Hotel Hershey, capital campaign organizers said.
